How to Edit Single Posts

    Hello,

    I’d like to edit/customize the single post, but I dont see the single-post.php
    anywhere in the Editor. I just see the index.php …

    Is there a way to customize the posts themselves without changing the homepage?

    When no single-post.php is present, the templating system defaults back to the index.php file.

    To edit the single-post.php template, simply copy the index.php file and rename it as single-post.php. Then you can edit it however you see fit.
