My apologies for the late reply as I received a prompt reply from you regarding the issue. I am using TwentyFourteen as my theme. The new update breaks the theme completely and had to disable it. It could be an issue on my end as I have several JS and CSS. Can you please check the compatibility of the plugin on TwentyFourteen? I would love to use the plugin again as it is very good and highly recommended by me.

    Hey Dan,

Not a problem. Yes, the plugin has been tested extensively with TwenyFourteen. All our plugins are tested on a number of different servers with different server configurations, and a number of different themes, including TwentyFourteen.

So that indicates it may have to do with the CSS or JS from another plugin, or any custom plugins scripts or styles you have installed. It’s ok though…I need to test it with as many different setups as possible to make as compatible as it can be with all kinds of different setups.

Don’t worry, I’ll get things figured out. I always do. ??

Because I’m going to need a lot of specific info about your setup, I’m going to ask you to contact me through the Plugin Support Form. Then we can email back and forth directly. Its going to ask you for a list of plugins on your site. An easy way to get this info is to use the Send System Info plugin (it rocks) and you can copy and paste the info from it.

Also, please include info on any custom JS and CSS you’re added that aren’t part of the default TwentyFourteen. Once I get your email, I may ask you to send me those as well so I can completely re-create your setup.

Alright, let’s see what we can do! ??

    Hi Dan,

As I mentioned in the previous thread, there’s only so much I can do without receiving further info from you. Since I haven’t heard back again I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you need help in the future, let me know. If you do, please post to this same thread instead of opening up a new one.

    Hi Scott,

Sorry for the delay. I think it causes my site to break (just the top) because I am using Ditty news in my header. Is there a way to overcome this?

    Hi Dan,

As I mentioned, please submit a support request through the link in my previous post. I tested it with Ditty News Ticker after reading your post here, and they’re working together just fine…so I will need specific info that that the support form provides, and will need to take a look at your site and see exactly how you have it set up so I can look into this. Thank you.
