  • its looks like an outdated splash page, i think a simpler and a cleaner design will do much better, good luck.

    I have recently had a Word Press website uploaded for me. My website is hardly ever up. My downtime is ridiculous . This error report pops up if I try to view my website ” Error establishing a database connection “

    Kindly assist so that I can ASSIST my ” hosters ”

    @alit: thanks for the advice

    @leonard Smallbones: you should first check the wp-config.php file to see if DB_NAME, DB_USER, DB_PASSWORD and DB_HOST are set to the correct values. Also maybe the db was not imported correctly, if you can you could try to do a reimport.

    WordPress also has a way to repair damaged db tables….. just insert define('WP_ALLOW_REPAIR', true); in wp-config.php and then go to https://www.yoursite.com/wp-admin/maint/repair.php and follow the steps to repair database.

    On the portfolio page the heading is overlapping the content, I don’t think this is intended.

    yeah thanks for that, saw it before but always forgot to fix it. Changed it now. Thanks again.
