Issues with Store Locator Plus Tagalong

WordPress site, using Press Permit to lock down pages as well as to create a user called Sub Admin to restrict only options this roll needsneed.

I’ve installed Store Locator Plus and the Tagalong plugin. The check box fields of Tagalong are showing on the edit store location page, however they are set as disabled so they are not usable.

Full Admin role they work fine, however to get these to work you have to enable “PP_Adminstor_Content” in Press Permit Roll assignment. However this unlocks ALL features in WordPress Admin which they should not have access to.

It looks like this Tagalong creates them as a taxonomy (https://www.charlestonsw.com/support/documentation/store-locator-plus/tagalong/)

I have tried adding various Capabilities using the ‘Add Capability’ option. However not have been successful at all, I have tried all the following:

create or edited stores
edited stores
locationtaxonomy
manage capabilities
pages slp
renderpage taglist
slp editform section
slp locationinfoform
slp manage locations
slp manage locations action
slp storepage attributes
slp storepage features
slp storepage labels
slp tagalong fields

taxonomy

Nothing works apart from the aforementioned “PP_Adminstor_Content”

Would love any suggestions, help or anything, I have spent two days going through pretty much every line of code for all the plugins to see if I can figure this one out.
