Foobox Integration

  • We’d like to use foobox as our lightbox, but are having some issues integrating it into the album plugin. We’ve followed the directions to no avail.
    Our settings on the fb album plugin are as follows:

    USE LIGHTBOX: Other Lightbox
    LIGHTBOX LINK ATTRIBUTE: class=”foobox” rel=”foobox”
    ______________________________

    In the Foobox settings, there’s four fields for JS:
    _____________________
    CUSTOM JAVASCRIPT (PRE) = Call any custom JS before FooBox is initialized. (Only to be used by developers!)

    CUSTOM JAVASCRIPT (POST) = Alter the way FooBox works by hooking into the built-in events, using custom javascript code. (Only to be used by developers!)

    CUSTOM JS OPTIONS = Alter the options passed into FooBox for complete customization. (Only to be used by developers!)

    CUSTOM EXTRA JS = Add some custom javascript after the FooBox init code. (Only to be used by developers!)

    We’ve tried placing the JS from the fb album in each of all four fields and none of them seem to work. Any suggestions for a fix?

    Hi,
    There might be a conflict with other javascript which is causing the fancybox to malfunction.
    If fancybox works with other images then it should also work with the FB Plugin.
    BTW, you don’t need this (just keep it default)
    LIGHTBOX LINK ATTRIBUTE: class=”foobox” rel=”foobox”

    and for the remaining, if following the steps described on my plugins backend doesn’t work then there must be a script conflict.

    BTW, does the default lightbox works?

    Yes, the default lightbox works fine. Not sure where the conflict could be, but I’ll run through the plugins and see if one of them are causing an issue. thanks for the response!
