Inclusion of author name

Maeve, your Cite plugin fills a major need for academics who publish on WordPress, but many of us who publish on multi-author blogs need a way to insert the author’s name. Here’s my attempt to modify your code to do this.

I’m not a developer and have no plans to support WP plugins. So if you wish to adopt (or improve upon this code), I’ll remove mine from GitHub and recommend yours instead.

Great improvement. Exactly what is needed! However, I prefer to install using WordPress plugin install feature rather than uploading files using ftp or similar. I also use Installatron which is quite good at automatically update plugins that are maintained on www.remarpro.com. So I will wait and hope that Maeve Lander does an update incorporating your excellent features. It should be easier if she looks at what you have done. Again thanks!

Thanks for the update. However, it seems that {date} stopped working. Please see at the bottom of https://science-network.tv/writing-a-systematic-review/. After “Assessed” I have {date} and this worked before the update. I would be most grateful if you can fix this.

Yikes! Woops, sorry about that. Fixed. Update to 1.2.2.
