Where to activate "Late Init"

  • Hi all

    i try to inject dynamic content using mfunc. i got it to work as far as executing inline php code or custom functions in functions.php that do not use wordpress functions.

    i understand that “late init” has to be activated in order to use wordpress functions. but for the live of me, i can’t find this checkbox!

    according to the translation files it should be in general.php, but there is no such functionality.

    i tried using Disk: Basic, and Disk: Enhanced, no show. All calls to wordpress functions output blank space.

    using W3 Total Cache v.0.9.4

  • Hi, I need to enable late init too and found a “Late initialization” checkbox under page cache advanced settings. Unfortunately for me, my checkbox is not checkable (light gray border) as if something is preventing to enable late init. I am trying to find a solution and found your message. It’s been some time since you posted it, but maybe this info can still help you.

    You need to switch to Disk:Basic instead of Disk:Enhanced then the “Late initialization” is checkable.
