Another – can't get it working

    Hmm, I may have figured this out. I also had my Announcements page set as my Posts page under Settings -> Reading (I have a static Home page and had Announcements as the posts page). I switched the Posts page to another page and now when I view my Announcements page, I’m only seeing posts with category Announcements. It looks like the posts page setting was overriding the filter plug-in setting.

    I think this will work for me.

    Could you check the behaviour once more? It should not be the case here as setting a page as a post page affects different database query. Does the theme you are using perform any custom queries to the database?

    Well, I switched the posts page back to the Announcements page and the wppf short code is no longer working – I’m getting all my posts on the page now.

    I have no idea if the theme I’m using – Hueman – uses custom queries to the database.

    I’m a bit of a WP newbie so maybe I’ve got something else configured wrong but I’m not sure what to look at…
