    Hi,

I really love the simplicity and cleanness and robust features of your plugin. Far better than Event Espresso’s free plugin.

However, the plugin inserts the event and booking information into EVERY widget area on the site that uses the Custom Post Widget Content Block.

Custom Post Widget is a plugin that creates a Custom Post Type to format blocks of text that can be used in a Widget Area. Your events plugin function hooks into these content blocks and displays the event information that should only display in the primary content area of the post/page/archive.

To reproduce this problem, install the Custom Post Widget plugin. Create a new Content Block. Add this Content Block to a widget area under Appearance > Widgets. Now, all the Events Manager content will display in that widget.

sorry, not familiar with that plugin however am afraid that we can’t work on this since it involves other plugin.

The Custom Post Widget plugin has a “Do not apply content filters” checkbox is a work-around. According to the author of the plugin:

Just to be clear; I have added the “Do not apply content filters” checkbox as a hack to circumvent some really sloppy coding by other plugin developers.

The authors of the All-in-one calendar plugin should really not be adding their code to all posts. It might be helpful to point them to this post which describes exactly what they are doing wrong: https://pippinsplugins.com/playing-nice-with-the-content-filter/
