Is it possible to use the in page version instead of the modal version when using menu item with class defined?

Whenever I do that it switches to modal version.

I do need it to be in my menu i guess since I also want the login – logout switch.

    Another question…

I was using theme my login for ages but it kept locking out users for no apparent reason. Really weird. I have wordfence installed which will lock out users as well so I don’t need this plugin to do that.

Does this plugin have some kind of lock out system?

    regards

    Hi Japhys,

If you want to create a page called “login”, have it show in your menu, and have it switch between login/logout then you would need to use the dialog approach. I have added this is an enhancement for a later version.

Regarding your other question, what specifically would the lock out system do? lock out the user after X failed login attempts? Currently we have a “pro” version that we are releasing soon, which will have a feature called “Force User Login”. Is that what your referring to?

Yup that is what I am referring to.

Thanks! Will give it another try with this new update

Just wanted to follow-up and see if the update worked?

    Hi there,

I installed the latest version but I don’t think I can use the login/logout switch with a login page instead of modal box, right?

    regards

Actually you can with some minor WP tweaking. By default we don’t know which page is your login page. So what you’ll want to do is the following.

    1. Manually add the login page to your menu via Appearances –> Menu
    2. Add a class name to your login menu item
    3. Copy/paste that class name in the Login & Register settings in the “login handle” section.
    4. Click save.

This should tell the plugin which link in the menu to change from “login” to “logout”
