Blacl Background for player in NextGEN PRO

Ok, really basic, I bought the Photocrati plug-in…..now I need a black background for the FILMSTRIP PRO player because the I have a theme with a white background. Setting the border to black doesn’t work–no border appears at all. Using CSSEdit I can find no CSS tags to edit to set the background of the player.
What am I missing? I would think this would be a basic feature.
