How to remove black block "written by"?

    You can remove it by first installing and activating a child theme: download here.

    Once you do that, visit your theme editor page under Appearance > Editor. Use the dropdown in the top-right corner to select “Tracks Child”.

    Lastly, copy and paste the following CSS under the line that says, “Theme customization starts here”:

    .author-meta {
  display: none;
}
