Need help with membership plugin.

I’m looking for a plugin that will help me share content with clients privately. Basically when the client logs in I want them to be able to view their own project so I can show them updates, and let them comment on the work.

I’ve thought of multiple ideas on how to go about doing them but I feel I might be thinking with the wrong mindset. I’m open to suggestions.

Ideas:
1. Use a membership plugin, and when the client logs in they will be redirected.
2. Lock the page, and send them a link with a password via email.
