how is it supposed to work?

Sorry I just don’t get how this is supposed to work?
After I install activate and go to Easy Admin in Settings I get a list of grey boxes with nothing in them except the text “Hide” and a checkbox.
If I drag a wordPress menu item from the left hand panel over on of the grey boxes all that happens is that WordPress opens whatever WordPress menu I’d dragged.
