Make featured post the same size as the other posts

    Hi

    I would like to resize the featured post so that it doesn’t run across the page and fits into two columns like the other posts, thanks.

    I have only just set up my first child theme and made my first css changes, so would be v. grateful for detailed instructions please!

  • Hi,
    featured slider (or image, if you have only 1)is 520x240px recommended size.
    You cannot resize it in 2 columns – if you don’t like it, better turn featured slider off
    -Appearance->Theme Options->Blog->Fetured Post Count -set to 0.
    and you will get “normal” blog look.
    Child theme – yes, any CSS modifications goes there – you have tons of posts on this forum, just search “child theme” and then keep on further.
