Form Not Subscribing

I’d gone ahead and tested out the plugin on your site by trying to sign up. However, I was actually able to receive the confirmation email almost immediately after signing up. In this case, it’s possible that the confirmation message may be arriving in spam folders, or it may be getting blocked by an aggressive firewall.

A good step in troubleshooting might be to try signing up to the list using the list’s hosted signup form. To locate that in your MailChimp account, navigate to the Lists page, select the list, click Signup Forms> General Forms, and copy the Signup Form URL found there, then paste it into your browser. If you encounter problems with receiving the confirmation email using that hosted form, we’d recommend reaching out to MailChimp Support, directly, while also consulting the article below:

However, if you continue to experience intermittent issues with subscribers receiving the confirmation email using the plugin, specifically, we’d be happy to further investigate. To help with that, if you could email us your MailChimp username to wordpress at mailchimp dot com, then post directly in the forum to let us know it’s been sent, we’ll be happy to check it out and respond from within the forum.

I tried that suggestion and it did work using the coding, I received the confirmation email. I just emailed my MailChimp username info to that address! Let me know if there is anything else you need from me, and thanks for all of your help.

Thanks for sending that information. I was able to test the form in the footer on a few pages on the site and it appears to be working from our end. Just to clarify, is there a specific page on the site in which it isn’t working? If so, can you send us a link to that page also please confirm which form on that page isn’t working.

Also when submitting the address in the form added with the plugin are you seeing a success message or error message?

I also wanted to mention, in the email sent to us I noticed your MailChimp password was included. At MailChimp we take security very seriously. Keep in mind that if your personal email account were to become compromised, that would also put your MailChimp account data at risk of being compromised or used for malicious purposes. MailChimp will never ask for your password via chat or email nor do we have access to view that information. We strongly recommend changing the password as soon as possible to keep your account safe!

Thanks for all of your help! I’m not sure what exactly changed, but I just tried it again and it’s working for me now somehow.

Can someone help me with MailChip? When I try to sign up for our newsletter on our website via the MailChimp plug-in, I get this error message: “Admin notice: FNAME must be provided – Please enter a value”

What do I need to do so that people can sign up?
