• This appeared to be a useful plug-in tool. Signup was easy. I created and saved a form in almost no time. It was exactly what I had been looking for – I spent the last 3 weeks looking for a plug-in like this! After signing in, I was reminded to verify my email address. So, I looked in my email and there was nothing. I then requested a second verification email and did not receive that. So, I figured that I must have signed up with an email address that for some reason was incorrect. Then I created a different account carefully using an alternate email address. I got the same problems as before. Well, last night was Sunday night so I waited until Monday morning and still nothing. I sent an email to the Cognito team and have received no response, yet. I am very disappointed with this “product”.

    My name is Rita and I am part of the Cognito Forms team. I’m sorry you’ve been having trouble receiving your verification email – sometimes they can get caught by spam filters. I do see that you submitted a question through StackExchange late last night also, and I apologize for the delay in response. However, at this time, the verification is more for our own records than anything else – you still have the full functionality of the plugin even without verifying your email.

    In order for us to dig into your particular issue, we need to know your Cognito organization name. If you’re not comfortable submitting that data here, you can send it to us privately through our bug reporting system.

    I will be on the lookout for a response here or through our bug reports so we can address this as soon as possible.

    I did get a response from Cognito forms this morning. They verified that their system did send emails to the specified addresses. With the help of Cognito Forms Support I finally solved the problem! Any email that was identified as junk was rejected by my hotmail accounts instead of going to the junk mail folder. I changed that setting. However, I had not identified cognitoforms.com as a blocked or spam domain. Hotmail assumed that it is spam. I have since identified cognitoforms.com as a trusted site. I don’t know why hotmail identifies the cognitoforms.com domain as spam.

    Sorry for the confusion but at least I’m up and running.

    This is, after all, a quality product. I recommend it to anyone needing an online web form builder!
