Hi, I’ve been using the custom gallery links plug in for a thumbnail gallery (made with the wordpress standard gallery) and has worked fine so far. Two days ago I tried to upload a new photo to the gallery and the whole gallery disappeared. As soon as I remove the photo, the gallery can be seen again. I’ve tried this with different photos so it’s not a corrupt data problem and I also upload the photos normally (through add media).

When I deactivate the plugin, the problem is solved and I can upload more thumbnails without the gallery disappearing but the links are obviously gone. I spoke to my provider and they can’t see a problem from their side, I have a lot of free server space. The site can be seen here: https://eatinmykitchen.meikepeters.com/recipes/

What could the problem be? Thanks!

  • Hm, this was a bug with an earlier version related to a greedy regular expression, but it *should* have been fixed after an update. Are you using the most current version of the plugin? If so, do you happen to have two images with the same filename, or two custom urls that are the same, or something else involving duplicates?

Marking this resolved due to no further response from original poster.
