Transfer points widget not working in mozilla/chrome

    Hi there,
    after several updates during the last weeks, a user informed me that the transfer points widget doesn’t work anymore.

    The transferring points widget is displayed as usual on some of my pages (using the display widget plugin, e.g. here https://nova-rpg.de/forums), butif you click on the “transfer”-button in Mozilla or Chrome, nothing happens. In Safari, everything is fine.

    (unfortunately, as logged out-user without points, u will only see “Novapunkte senden” with a short text, without possibility to interact)

    Any ideas what could cause the trouble?

    Hey.

    Sounds like a javascript issue. When viewing the page in Chrome, I would enable the Developer Tools menu to see what errors are thrown. The developer tool should show you CSS warnings on your page and javascript errors (if any). If a javascript file is throwing an error before the myCRED ajax script, it will not fire.

    In 1.5 I will be adding an option to disable ajax and use regular form submissions.

    What am I missing here?

    This plugin is great. But I’m having some issues, I don’t see the edit button in the log area it just doesn’t show. I know I must be overlooking something can you help me with this?

    I solved all problems (obviously several JS issues in some parts of the website) by re-installing wordpress.

    – deleting wp-includes and wp-admin folder
    – deleting all root wp php files except wp-config.php, htaccess-file
    – keeping the wp-content folder
    – copying wp-includes, wp-admin and root files from a new download of wordpress.

    @renegate. Thank you for the update.

    @scriptkeeper. If you got to the myCRED > Log page you only have the “Delete” option in the actions column and not “Edit”?

    That’s correct I don’t have the edit button on the log page. And I added the code the central bank in the theme’s function php but I got an error message after reloading the page. “Cannot_redeclare_charge_bank_account” What can I do about this error and the edit button?

    Hey.

    First I would try removing any customizations I added to make sure it is not these codes that are causing the issue.

    Both the edit and delete buttons are inserted on the page in one single string and there is no customization or option that removes one of them. Check that you are not applying CSS styling to hide the edit button.

    I have the same problem in Chrome with all notifications, transfer forms, (etc) with myCRED.
    I use WordPress multisite and I can’t find the Javascript file in <head> for MyCRED…

    @soufianesabiri Do you get any javascript errors on the page where the widget is inserted? Javascript errors or if jQuery is not loaded on this page, no widget will work.
