HELLO? IS THERE ANYBODY HOME? I just love the wonderful support here, while my store sits idle…..

Volunteer support here only, and not much of that, but I’ll wade in.

Here is a screenshot of my admin page.

I have the same tabs as you are showing, so I don’t think you are missing any tabs.

There isn’t a category menu option, but there is a “categories” menu option which is on the Products sub-menu.

There isn’t an inventory tab. To set the stock level of a product, you go to the product’s page, down the bottom there is an inventory tab, ensure “Manage stock?” is checked, and enter the stock quantity in the adjacent field. You need to do this for each product.

The Pages menu item is for vanilla WP pages.

Can you post a screenshot of your admin page, and the url to your site might be helpful.

That is if you’ve not fixed it yet:)

Hi guys. I also have same problem. I even got woocommerce theme but this tabs “page” and “catalogue” are not there. Actually, if i understood right, you need to have “page” tab so you can locate where on site you want to put your products (shop).
So, at the moment i’m in dead street. I think without “page” tab you can’t place anywhere products you want to sell on web site.
I hope i’m wrong, please help me if you can because i’m already three days on computer without any solution.

this is my site… if you want to check for whick products i want to make web shop. vrbaneceramics.eu

You should be able to see the standard Pages menu item on the Admin screen. This leads to a list of all the pages on the site, both WooCommerce pages and any other pages you have set up. WooCommerce automatically makes certain pages: Shop, My Account, Cart and Checkout. These pages can be added to your menu in the normal way.

WooCommerce doesn’t have a catalogue tab. There should be a Products menu item on the Admin screen. This is where you create your products.

Here is a screenshot of my admin page.

    hi… thank you for reply.
watch this video and watch it from 1:13 and than froze picture.
As you can see, the guy from video opened woocommerce settings and there among other tabs are two tabs that you and I don’t have. Catalog and pages tabs. Thats what i was talking about. And i think this tab “pages” is very important so you can easily locate youre products.
Now my question for you is; why dont we have this?

    check video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hg6Ys_KxEwE

And if it’s not a problem, can i ask you how do you determine where you put your products (with price and everything) in some page (for example page- shop)?

Do you put products with shortcodes or there is some setting where you can determine where you want there products are visable?

(i apolagize for my bad gramatic, english is not my primary language).

The Catalog and Pages tabs are not there in the standard WooCommerce plugin. I have the current version of the standard plugin.

Its possible that the video is showing an older version of WooCommerce, or that the Pages and Catalogue tabs are features of the WooStore theme. Which theme are you using?

If you don’t have the WooStore or other special theme, your products are entered in the Products menu on the Admin page.

WooCommerce will automatically create a page called “Shop” when it is installed. You will find this page in the list of Pages. Don’t do anything to it. It doesn’t need any shortcodes. WooCommerce will see to it.

Under WooCoomerce / Settings / Products tab, there is a setting to control what shows on your shop page at first, either categories, products or both. If you have more than just a few items, you will want to have the Shop page show categories.

Vvanja4, have you tried adding products via Admin? The fact that you are do not have a Catalog or Pages tab may not be an issue. These tabs may be Theme specific. If you review the WooCommerce Screenshots you will see that these Tabs are not shown.

Proucts are uploaded via the Products menu on the left menu bar, rather than the WooCommerce menu. Here’s a screenshot from a Woocommerce Admin page. As you can see the Products menu is where you upload product information.

    HTH

I am having the same issue. I have to watch YouTube to figure these things out and it seems that I must be watching an outdated one ??
