Removing Published by

    Can anyone tell me how to remove the “Published by” at the beginning of every post? I’m the only one writing so I don’t need that info.

  • Hi HonestTherapy, you want to look for content.php line 63-65 the div class “excerpt-meta-top” block can be removed and no authoring/date information will appear anymore.

    Please don’t do that!

    While technically correct, your changes will be overwritten when you update. Instead, add a copy of the content.php file to a child theme. Then make the edits there and it will stay when you update.

    The “Published by” string appears in lines 7, 27, and 64 of content.php.
