Home Page- Content Under Featured Posts?

  • Hi all!

    I recently installed a plugin (Home Categories) that allows me to take all the recent posts under the main featured category slider off the main page so that I have lots of room to work with underneath.

    The problem is, because my sidebars are long with content (that needs to stay in the primary and secondary sidebars- it cannot be moved to other areas to shorten the sidebars), when I add content to the footer widgets, it shows up at the bottom of where the sidebars end.. leaving me with lots of empty space in the middle area (here is a screencap that I blurred out the content on so that it’s clear I’m not promoting anything!     Can I add widgets or content under the featured category slider that ISN’T a post?

    nice to meet you again.
    As you blurred screenshot, so you did the question ?? Normal behavior of Hueman theme is to show posts under featured slider.
    Why you need to show something else – btw, I don’t think it’s possible, at least putting something more clever than posts.
    Please clarify and leaving your website URL is not promoting anything – just more efficient way to solve people’s problems (ok, not in every post you write, but in a thread, till the problem is solved).
