I have been searching for a way to add qTags to my comments and noticed in the plugin description, this is one of the features of this plugin but on my installations I’m not seeing the option to add tags to the comments area. I noticed in the image available in the screenshots area there is a comments column but that’s not displayed in my AddQuicktags settings area.

I have even tried a site with only the AddQuicktags plugin and get the same results. Was this feature removed at some point or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks a lot for the hint. This was a a small forgotten variable on the new rc version to define this on the default. Please test the new RC2, there will fix this topic.

With RC2 the column appears in settings page for the option but I’m not getting the buttons the on 2011 or 2014 on fresh install with only AddQuickTags activated. I checked in Edit Comment back-end and front-end, neither have the buttons.

You must active the checkbox for edit-comments inside the settings for each qtags, there will add to the Edit Comment Screen. After save settings and switch to edit-comments.php and Quick-Edit you will see the qtags inside the editor.
But you have right, I forgot the edit comment screen, a separate screen. I have add this to the current dev version, download here: https://github.com/bueltge/AddQuicktag

    Please give me feedback. Thanks.

Same issues for me with 2.3.1 but if I’m the only one experiencing it don’t spend too much time on it o.O

    Currently checked.
On the comments area under posts will use the plugin the same buttons as on the post editor. The difference is the post type.
Also you have different settings for edit-comment – quick edit in the comment overview and als comment, a extra option on settings, for edit an comment.
