Jetpack Carousel customization

I’m trying to get rid of the left and right images under the arrows on the Jetpack carousel. I was able to hide them and for the most part it’s looking how I want it. Now all I need to do is get rid of the images that flash on the left and right during the transition. i actually don’t see the flash any more, but my client says she is stll seeing the flash of the image during the transition on her computer.

***It does definitely appear still on the iPad and I must get rid of it there. Maybe there is a piece of CSS that I’m missing?
