Bug in timer module

A user has reported a bug when the Timer feature is implemented. The user had to stop doing the quiz halfway but when he came back, the quiz restarted:
When I restarted, the quiz started at question 1 again…thus unfairly allowing me a chance to give the correct answers for the previous questions attempted.
