Youtube preview suddenly gone

  • Sometime around May 26th my voicesoflabor.com blog started having issues with Facebook and G+. When sharing a page on FB with a youtube video link, the preview no longer showed. Jpg’s and pngs still previewed fine, but not the preview for the video. After weeks of not getting anything to work, I assumed it had to be my host and moved. When I set up with the new host the first time I posted I got the preview, but never since. I’ve tried various different plugins to get around this but nothing is working. I’m weeks into this and very frustrated. It’s obviously the og code, but even using plugins that fill out the info, I get everything but the preview. (note, the few jpg’s on the page show on the fb debugger, but not the video preview)

    I’m at my wits end, loosing sleep and going crazy. I don’t like to leave things like this unfixed, but am at the end of my abilities. No, I’m not a programmer, but I am an above average user.

    Help me please! I’m open to any suggestions

    May have finally fixed it with smart youtube pro. I had it installed before, but I guess something in it just stopped working or was corrupted upon updating. But things appear to be working again. I hate having to depend on a plugin for what is suppose to be normal operations but as long as it keeps working I’ll be happy
