You can see in the blog post on the home page and on the “pics” page that the images don’t focus on the subject’s head. I noticed this, so I went into each image and cropped the thumbnail. In the gallery preview in the post/page editor, it shows the cropped thumbnails. In the media pages, it shows the cropped thumbnails. However, when the gallery loads on the site, the thumbnails do not load. I’m no sure if it’s a theme or plugin issue. I used a modified version of the “Box of Boom” theme. The only image related plugin I have is Responsive Lightbox. Tried deactivating it and that didn’t help.

    Any advice?

  • Looks like you put a lot of work into this site bryanbatcher. Great stuff. It’s coming along nicely.

In regards to your issue, do you have any sort of catch plugin on the site?

    For example:

    WP Super Cache?
    W3 Total Cache?
    Quick Cache?
    Hyper Cache?

If you have one of these plugins installed then it might be causing you to see old versions of the images until the “newer” version gets updated in the plugin.

Let me know if you have one of these plugins installed or not and we can then move to the next step and try to diagnose what may be causing this.

    All the best.

Thank you! I didn’t have one of the ones you listed but I was using Photon through Jetpack. I deactivated that and the problem is fixed. Thank you so much.
