    Hiya,

I own UKMobileReview.com and have been using Jetpack Stats. Earlier today I rebranded it to TechView.co. I used the same WordPress.com login but Jetpack created a new website and stats profile for the new site.

Is it possible to merge the two together so I’ve not lost my stats history? The old site redirects to the new one and I’ve checked that since 12pm (when the redirect when live) no visits are being recorded on my old domain but are being recorded on the new domain.

    Thanks
    Nirave

    Hi there!

Your stats aren’t lost – we just need to reconnect them to your new blog ID. Your site is assigned a unique blog ID that is tied to your site URL when you first connected Jetpack. If the URL changed anytime between the time you first connected and when you reconnected, the system on our end would recognize the new URL as a new site and would assign a new blog ID – which is what happened in this case.

However, when you reconnected Jetpack, we retained the URL of what looks to be your staging site on WP Engine. I made the corrections to that URL on our end. Can I have you disconnect and reconnect Jetpack to your WordPress.com account again? This will refresh those settings on your end.

To disconnect/reconnect Jetpack, go to Jetpack -> Jetpack in your site’s dashboard. Scroll down to the footer of that page to find the “Disconnect from WordPress.com” link as shown here: https://d.pr/i/10QE . Click that, then reconnect to WordPress.com when you see the button to do so.

Also, I see that UKMobileReview.com still has an active Jetpack connection. Do you still need that connection? If not, please let me know and I can disconnect it for you as well.

Please reply once you’ve reconnected, then I can then fix your stats issue.

Hiya, sorry for the late response!

The correct url should be https://www.techview.co, not the staging url. I have disconnected and re-connected the WordPress.com connection.

Also, I’m happy for you to deactivate the UKMobileReview account once the stats are migrated to the techview.co account.

    Thanks

I have reconnected your stats as requested. Please note it may take up to a day for the stats to accurately reflect the update.

I also removed the connection for UKMobileReview per your confirmation.

    I hope that helps!

I have a website MyFrugalWife.com and have rebranded. I now blog under WeLovePlaytime – unfortunately I am not able to figure out my login for my original account to update the information. I would love to update the information as well as get it so that JetPack creates a shortened url that points to the correct domain.
