Just Got Charged ￡1K by my host because the plugin doesn't cache pics!

I’m more than a little annoyed to say the least!
I can’t blame you, this is a free plugin, but I installed this plugin because I needed a background slider for my ajax paged site, but recently we got rid of the ajax feature, I had 3 background images about 120kb each that looped over around a 8 second period. After receiving 10s of 1000s of hits we got sent a penalty for exceeding our bandwidth, imagine my jaw when I realized my hosting provider was asking for ￡1000!!
Anyway, the hosting company says the problem is with the plugin it does not cache the images, it reloads the images each time!
Sort it out ASAP please.
