Error: Trying to get property of non-object…

    I think everything is functioning normally, except when I add a new plugin I get this message:

    Hi Jack,

    Can you tell me what version of PHP you’re running? I just tried reproducing this error and I was entirely unable to. I don’t see these messages when I install a new plugin with Quick Cache enabled.

    Note that I’m testing with define('WP_DEBUG', true); and define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', true); set in my wp-config.php file, so I should see those PHP Notices if there’s a bug. However, I don’t see any such notices.

    Could you give me an exact list of steps required to reproduce this?

    Hi Raam,

    As always… after noticing it twice, I tried to install some plugin to test it myself again, and now I can’t reproduce it myself ;). So let’s wait until it happens again (or not).
