youtube background slider

How do I embed or get the slider onto my page? I have tried many different sliders and it seems no one bothers to write documentation on how to use or activate them extremely annoying. do I need to add code into index.php, functions.php or some_other_php? I can find the click to set options but nothing about how to get the content to appear on the page.
I need a youtube capable slider for this project does anyone have one they recommend or can point me in the right direction?
I am using the Ward theme.
