custom themes/templates

Hello everyone. I’m designing my own theme/template for my blog and everything is going great except for one minor problem –

When I go to view the comments, the comments look great but the entry shows up as unformatted text. I tried looking all over the comment template to see where I can edit format the entry part of the comment, but no luck.
