What happened to Inserting an image from URL?

  • There used to be the option to insert an image from url into the recipe but now when using the “insert image” button the only option is to upload a new image or choose one from the library. I know the links can be manually added but it used to be easier with the option in the insert image. This option is still in the standard WP “add media” button but not in the recipes plugin. Am I missing something or was it removed?

    Oops. It seems we overlooked that when we updated to use the new WP media uploader. I’ve added it to the list to be fixed in the next release.

    It has been 2 months since I reported this issue. Is there any eta on when this will be fixed?

    I think this has been fixed. I can use the import from URL in the version I just downloaded a couple of days ago.
