Where do i find WordPress data on my tablet

  • Hi there

    i have an Android, Nexus 10 and my question is basically if i was using the WordPress app on my tablet, where would stored information be?

    Explain it to me like i’m an idiot with limited computer knowledge.

  • It’s probably in /data/data/org.wordpress.android/ though I’m not able to verify this at the moment as I don’t have Eclipse (java development environment) installed.

    Viewing the SQLite databases or cache there isn’t exactly straightforward. You’ll need to use ADB (Android Debug Bridge). This Stackoverflow question has more details.

    Looks like you also need a rooted phone to be able to do this.

    Curious, what are you looking for in the locally-stored data? Most of the data is going to come from the WordPress.com or self-hosted sites you have connected to the app.
