• So I’m using feed to post, posting as a draft with this feed as the test:
    https://feed43.com/3236434870064708.xml

The issue here is that when a post is made from the feed, the first image of each post in the feed is put at the top of the post; instead of in the content (like it is in the feed).

I’ve tried setting “Default category image setting” to “Use default image for category” with a blank box as the default image for category, but then it does not import the images at all.

And the original problem: If I use the setting “process normally”, the first image in the feed is displayed at the top of the post instead of in the content (like it is in the feed).

I do not have any WordPress or theme options that put images above posts, I have images set to show in the excerpt only. Is there any way to keep the first image in between the content instead of at the top? If a feed post has 2 images, the 2nd image is in the right place.

    Otherwise, the plugin works fine.

  • I believe this could be to do with your theme not the plugin.

if you are bringing in the image and making it a featured image, then your theme (as leegmiller said) is putting the image there – the plugin doesn’t do that.
