Protected posts are not longer hidden

  • I’m inputting my blog posts (transferring from another software) and protecting some posts. I’ve been checking as I’ve gone along and they were indeed protected.

    All of a sudden they said they’re protected, but they’re not. Whether it’s on the main page, or I click a category or date, the protected posts show up in full text.

    What could I have done wrong and how do I fix this?

    PS: I haven’t added plugins whatsoever since I began inputting data and the only changes I’ve made this afternoon were in sidebar.php and I’ve written some pages.

    Follow up: From doing a search I’ve realized that once logged in, you can’t log out, so that’s why I’m seeing all my private posts.

    Short of deleting cookies — which I really can’t do — is there a way to “log out” of protected posts?

    The post’s are protected until the user has logged in. There isn’t a way around this AFAIK.
