WordPress on subdomain

  • I am trying to install wordpress on a subdomain of my main account. I have CPanel with current versions of Apache, MYSql and PHP version 4.4.2.

    How do I go about setting up this subdomain so that I can install wordpress at the address?

  • Assuming your ‘main domain’ for your account is https://www.messiahkenosha.org then if you click on the Subdomains option and add a subdomain called toddssubdomain.messiahkenosha.org. I believe cPanel will create a folder called toddssubdomain under your public_html folder–if not create the folder yourself.

    Then just install WordPress in that folder.
