    Hi All,

Perhaps I’m not exactly in the right place “Multisite”, but I have a problem with a copy of a site I have working on a subdomain. The situation is when I try to login to the subdomain: https://www.otherlanguage.example.com by going to otherlanguage.example.com/wp-login.php I get pushed to the main domain of the site admin: example.com/wp-admin

The reason I have two sites is for a bilingual version of the main site. I copied all files and database and upload that to the subdomain – note the subdomain does have its own separate database.

Also, I don’t know if this is relevant but both sites sit inside a subfolder “wordpress” and I am using .htaccess to make it look like there isn’t a sub directory.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Moved out of Multisite because unless both sites are on the same DB using a network, they’re not a multisite.

When you copied, did you remember to change all the URLs in the database to the new subdomain name?
