mod_rewrite in htaccess?

  • Hi all,

    Periodically my website goes down (404 error on all pages) due to some rogue code that keeps putting mod_rewrite rules in the htaccess file. I’m pretty sure it’s a plugin, and I think I’ve narrowed it down to these three plugins:

    Page Restrict
    Peter’s Login Redirect
    Quick Page Redirect

    I think QP Redirect doesn’t touch the htaccess file, and I haven’t seen any problems like it for PL Redirect – is it Page Restrict?
