• I’m wanting to have several hyperlinks on a public webppage, each one should prompt the user for a username and password particular to that link before they can see the new page. Is there a plugin that I can accomplish this with?

    Thanks for any help!

  • Are the links to other posts on the site? If so, you can publish the posts as a password protected page. (Right side menu -> Publish -> Visibility: Password Protected)

Though there is no user name, the user will have to enter the password before viewing the data.

Thanks! That’s exactly what I’m playing around with right now. However, in the past, I had one link that would redirect them to the appropriate page based on the username/password they entered. But, that was back when someone else was handling the webpage. Now I’m trying to get it done myself due to cutbacks. May have to go this route as a backup plan if I can’t get it done the first way.

you need a custom plugin to handle redirection based on username and password entered
