How to change the color of the divider line between the posts.

In a previous topic, this question was asked and the sugessted solution was:
Please add it to the custom css box You can play with the color.
.rpwe-block li { border-color: #999 !important; }
I put the code in Custom CSS Rules in my client’s theme and it didn’t work.
The sidebar is yellow and the divider lines are a pale gray. I would like the lines to be the same yellow as the background.
Or is there code to simply remove the divider lines? That would be even better.
