[iTheme Security WP Fastest Cache] destroyed my .htaccess

  • I used WP Fastest Cache plugin and it worked just perfectly and i had NO problem with .htaccess.

    Then I installed iTheme Security (WP Better Security) and I got “make sure .htaccess is writable. So I removed iTheme Security but now I got problem with my .htaccess.

    When I try to us WP Fastest Cache it says .htaccess is not writable but BEFORE iTheme Security plugin istalled I had no problem.

    I don’t know what to do now? Please, help!

    Thought I would add to this question as I have searched for an answer to this and have the same issue. (‘.htaccess is not writable’)
    and I use iTheme Security.
