ads within my website from plugins?

  • Hi, I did a webpagespeedtest on my blog, and some highlighted elements look to be ads.

    The questionable references are
    ads.yahoo.com
    dp1.33across.com
    rc.rlcdn.com
    dpm.demdex.net
    lodus.excelator.com
    tynt.com
    adnxs.com

    I tried deactivating a few recently installed plugins, and these references still show up. I am not sure how long these have even been present. I guess I could deactivate all plugins, but thought I’d ask here first in case there is something easy I am missing.

    I tried searching all files in my plugins dir, but can’t find them either, I think because they are redirected referrals. Any idea where these are coming from?

    I figured this out by deactivating all plugins and re-enabling one by one. A pain, but well worth the effort.

    It was LinkWithin:

    Displays recommended stories and associated thumbnails from your blog

    Too bad, as I really liked that one, but not if it’s giving my visitors malicious pop up ads!

    I got my speed from 8s down to 4s by cleaning up garbage!

    Do you have the “easytynt” plugin? 33across&Tynt sent me an e-mail about putting advertising on my site. I am new at this so I am going to start a thread about it. Anyway the plugin that I installed and tried to get working “easytynt” is supposed to add my link “https://www.recoveryfarmhouse.com” to anything that gets copied from my website. So when its pasted it will show at the bottom. That way if someone is using my articles I will get free advertisement. I haven’t got the plugin working yet it’s complicated, but I plan to. ????
