Can’t login

    I can’t login, my username and my password are all right, and when i try to recover my password, it says :

    Sorry, that user does not seem to exist in our database. Perhaps you have the wrong username or e-mail address? Try again.

    any idea of what’s goin on?

    I would apreciate any kind of help about it.

  • More info…. when did your login work last? What did you do after that? What did you change – theme, plugins, host?

    well, it lasted about 2 weeks down, it said it was the database or maybe the hosting.
    I came back to see if it worked today and it’s working BUT
    not the login stuff, i just changued it to a different folder 3 weeks agobut didn’t change the login info or the datababe.

    You can’t just arbitrarily move wp around in folders. You have to make database changes etc. What happens if you put the folder back to where it was when you were last able to login?

    Oh i got you, well… i had it before like: https://maryl.host.sk but moved it to https://maryl.host.sk/blog/

    but i can’t move it cuz i have my portfolio on the other link, i just seen my database info but i don’t know anything aboyt mysql databases, i guess i have to change the info in there right?

    Back to square one: where is your wp install RIGHT NOW? Where do you WANT IT?

    My wp install is actually here here: https://maryl.host.sk/blog/

    And i want it in the same folder that it’s on right now

    Then you have some adjustments to make to what’s stored in your database.

    You may recall some URI values at Options -> General. Those tell your blog where it is and those are used for all the links. When they don’t match the physical location, things go all pear-shaped.
