Calendar doesnt look nice. How to beautify

I’d very much like to know that as well. What I am specifically looking for is assigning different colors to different event categories (what the picture suggests). That’s the reason I got this plugin ??

Here’s where you can find the formatting that’s used on the demo site:

To use different colors for different categories you’ll need to first give the categories colors under Events > Events Categories. Then you can use the #_CATEGORYCOLOR placeholder where you want to dispaly the category color.

So I found out I have to install WP FULLCALENDAR-Plugin…

Then follwing options are essential:
1. Ensure “Override calendar on events page?” is set to “Yes” within Events Manager
2. Check to make sure “Override calendar shortcode?” is set to “No” within Events Manager

I generally have my Events page set to “CONTENTS” (Without quotes) when using EM.
