    L.S.,

On a fresh WordPress 3.9.1 install I installed the jonradio Private Site plugin and it worked fine. I then installed WooCommerce 2.1.9 to create a private shopping site and although the jonradio Private Site plugin still worked the ‘forgot my password’ functionality is no longer working. It just keeps on refreshing the page but only shows the login page. I will also post this on the WooCommerce forum but if you can have a look and see what’s wrong that would be great.

    Regards,

    Lennert

  • Just back and my desk and seeing this now. I want to try re-creating this problem on my test system, to prove out a solution I believe should work.

    I’ll post here soon.

I have verified the problem. And confirmed that my solution works, though the appearance of the Forgot Password page is different.

In the jonradio Private Site plugin’s Settings page, you will need to enter a URL in the “Add URL to be Always Visible” field and hit the Save Changes button. The URL will end /my-account/lost-password/ and begin with your Site URL, such as https://example.com//my-account/lost-password/

If you are unsure, the correct way to determine this URL is to right mouse click on the “Lost your password?” link and select Copy Link Location from the drop-down menu provided by your browser.

The problem is that WooCommerce changes the URL of the Forgotten Password page. I’ll think about an automatic solution for a future release of my plugin.

    Typo: https://example.com//my-account/lost-password/ should be https://example.com/my-account/lost-password/

    That fixed it!

Sorry for not trying that myself. ??
And thanks for the quick reply. Appreciate it!

So good to hear! Hope that it continues to work for you. If not, please let me know.
