Using A Sub-domain To Display Category Posts

On my blog, I post about a bunch of different topics. As I was at work today, I began to wonder if I would be able to have posts from a certain category show up in a sub-domain.

Basically, let’s say I do a lot of posts about Apple computers. Now, I want those posts to show up with the rest of the nonsense I discuss on my front page, but I also want to have it post on a sub-domain (like apple.edthemusical.com), with that sub-domain having a different WordPress theme to it.

Anyone able to figure out a way to pull that off? ‘Cause I’m absolutely clueless about it.
