I’ve just logged into a site’s FTP to take down a backup when I noticed that in the root folder, there’s now a directory called “E:” – this contains numerous folders which just so happen to equal the path to my local version of this site, but only the path to wp-content/uploads, with no content except a folder in uploads called “backwpup-2d06f-logs” with a .donotbackup, .htaccess and index.php — that folder doesn’t exist in my local (or live) version of this site though… any thoughts?

Hi Daniel, of course – thanks for replying. I wasn’t sure how to send an image directly to you, so I’ve uploaded the image to our company’s site – see image link below:

I think, looking at the modified times, that this might have happened after updating the plugin, not 100% sure though.

    Thanks for your time.

what for a logs folder is configured ?

… Sorry to waste your time – that was it, the log file is the path. Though that sort of absolute file path obviously worked when I set up the site on my PC, it just creates a sub-folder structure on the linux box.

    Thanks for your help!
