Map chart losing data from CSV upload

    When creating a map chart, I can successfully upload the CSV file successfully and Visualizer generates the preview with the countries correctly coloured in. However, when I go to the next step the map becomes a wire-frame i.e. none of the countries are coloured in anymore. I haven’t had any similar problems with the other charts, please could you assist?

    I have the same problem. when building the map chart, the CSV upload data goes in and displays correctly during the upload screen when I go to the next page, the data is lost and the map data is blank. any ideas on why the state or data is lost?

    no edit error shows up.

    @nickgogerty it could be some kind of compatibility issue. Could you deactivate else plugins and try to repeat the process to figure out if they have affect on map chart creation?

    If plugins don’t affect the process, then it could be your theme. So try to switch it and try it again.

    Thanks for the quick response. It was user error: (embarrassing). I use uploading an RTF which would process in the first instance and display during the “data upload step” but not be stored during the next step of the map build. Once I used a flat CSV all was good.

    Apologies for sucking up your time on that.

    The plugin, is very nicely done. I will take a look at the scatter diagram next and the labelling convention.
