Fetch Top Download Clicks

  • Hi, great plugin – thanks.

    Wondering what the best way might be to go about fetching a ‘list’ of say the top 5 or so downloads, perhaps from a per post basis. This would be generated obviously from the click counter.

    I dug into the database and noticed that ‘wp_eg_attachments_clicks’ is attached to the normal wordpress ‘post_id’ so it looks like this is doable.

    Even if i can stick with shortcodes and have something like [attachments template=large id=-1 limit=5 orderby=”clicks DESC”]

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Edit: Apparently it does this already – nevermind. lol.

    actually, that didnt work. any help is appreciated. just looking to orderby the click count…

    Hi,

    The parameter orderby=”clicks DESC” is working since the release 2.1.
    Did you retry it?
